This is an example of a Flag Display Case that commemorates a soldier’s combat duty deployment. At the top of the frame is a large American flag, measuring 9.5’ x 5’ in size. The flag was folded and placed into a triangular-shaped opening that measures approximately 23.5” x 9.625”. Military memorabilia was placed beneath the flag. The items in this flag display case include the 4th Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment insignias for the Ravens and the Brawlers. It also includes nametapes, a custom laser engraved commemorative nameplate, a rank patch, uniform flags, ISAF patch, and the Tarin Kowt patch. The collection of memorabilia in the flag display case commemorates the leadership during deployment at the Forward Operating Base Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan. The desert buff and black linen mats used for this flag display case create a sense of depth for the objects beneath the flag. A wood, matte black finish frame complements the mat colors.
