  1. What is the quality of the materials used with each frame?

We use only the highest quality conservation grade materials i.e. acid-free mats, tape, backing along with 99% UV acrylic which prevents fading over the years and breakage during shipping.

  1. How is the guidon secured in place?

Each guidon is sewn onto an acid-free mat to prevent falling and sagging over the years.

  1. Why is the cost of the guidon frame so expensive?

Since we use only the highest quality conservation grade materials in all frames and take the time to expertly secure all items within the frame this creates a heirloom project to be proudly passed down from generation to generation.

  1. How do you compare to other military frame companies?

We use only the highest quality conservation grade materials which last a lifetime.  Each frame is all wood and completely custom built to the size required to create a balanced display.  No standard readymade plastic or composite frames are used with any order.  We don’t use lower quality acid mats. Cheap acid mats will cause brown acid discoloration to the guidon or any non-metal items within the frame that they touch.  No regular lower quality glass or acrylic is used which causes fading of the guidon, mats, and any other non-metal item.  Each guidon frame utilizes 99% UV acrylic to prevent breakage and destruction to the items within the frame when shipped.  All guidons are sewn in place to prevent them from falling or sagging.  Many lower priced companies double stick tape the guidons in place or apply them to an adhesive board and over time the adhesive deteriorates and causes the guidon to fall.  These frames are hidden away in a closet, under the bed or in the garage due to the poor quality and workmanship.  Our frames are proudly displayed in a place of prominence either in a home or office.
