Cavalry Guidon Example – 2nd Squadron 183rd Calvary Regiment

Cavalry Guidon Example – 2nd Squadron 183rd Calvary Regiment

This is a Calvary Guidon for the 2nd Squadron, 183rd Calvary Regiment. It is a regulation size regulation size, cotton, custom embroidered Calvary Guidon. The custom guidon frame design includes the 183rd Cavalry Regiment’s Unit Crest (Death to Tyrants), a custom nameplate, and rank insignia pin. These objects were placed inside the Calvary Guidon’s swallowtail area on the mat. The color design includes a black etched top mat. The bottom mat is also an etched black mat. The etched mats produce a metallic look that offers a stark color contrast against the guidon and the objects in the frame. A unit crest, a nameplate, and a rank pin were top mounted onto the mat. Foamboard spacers were used to separate the glass from the Calvary Guidon and the objects in the frame. A standard V-groove offers visual contrast between the objects and the frame. The brown wood frame with metal corner caps used in this design is the preferred choice for customers seeking guidons custom framed. We offer a number of cavalry guidon designs in our e-commerce store. We also provide customization for framed guidons to suit your needs.
