The Open V-groove mat cut is more than just the standard V-groove cut into a mat. The Open V-Groove is much wider, because it represents different sets of mats separated and then re-joined with space that adds depth to the picture framing project. The Open V-Groove is very difficult to master. However, time and experience perfecting it will result in great designs that incorporate the Open V-Groove.
