Marine Corps 20” x 15” Guidon Design 2015-D3-M4
Marine Corps 20” x 15” Guidon Design 2015-D3-M4. The framed guidon features an embroidered single-sided guidon sewn onto the bottom acid-free mat. The Marines guidon has triple acid-free mats. The top two mats are cut into the shape of the guidon and an opening for each object. The bottom mat is used for mounting objects in the openings. This guidon design features six object openings. The first opening is for the guidon. Within the guidon’s swallowtail is an opening for a rank pin and a unit crest or similar size objects. Three openings are beneath the unit guidon’s opening. The object openings from left to right are for a challenge coin, a name plate, and another challenge coin. The design also includes an open V-groove immediately around the Marines guidon and the other objects. Surrounding the mats is a traditional 2” medium brown tone wood frame with metal corner caps. The glazing for the frame is 99% UV protected acrylic. This frame selection is very popular with the military.
