This is an example of a custom framed diploma from the Savannah College of Art and Design. The frame design includes the diploma cover and the cover. The black and white diploma cover was printed on a fabric which shows texture surrounding the building at the top. The fabric was sewn in place to acid-free/conservation grade mat board. The diploma was mounted to acid-free release foamboard. The simplicity of the diploma’s black and white design is complemented by using a design that matches black and white mats, and a black frame, to the diploma’s colors. The overall effect is to produce a custom framed diploma that is appealing and reflects the character of the diploma itself.
