This is an example of a custom framed Civil Affairs Guidon for the 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion. The design includes a custom embroidered 12” x 9” cotton 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion Guidon. Directly beneath the guidon is the 82nd Battalion’s distinctive unit insignia. Beneath the unit insignia is a Civil Affairs badge, custom nameplate, and a company challenge coin. The guidon and the civil affairs mementos were framed using triple acid-free/conservation grade mats. The top and bottom mats match the guidon’s basic color. The middle mat is white, and matches the white Civil Affairs emblem. Openings in the mats were formed around each object to provide depth. A special swallowtail cut for the guidon. Surrounding the guidon and the accompanying objects is an open V-groove. A black wood profile with white edging was selected for the frame. The design for this civil affairs guidon is similar to the ones in our e-commerce store. There is a slight variation with this one from the standard packages. This frame design uses four objects beneath the guidon instead of three. We will gladly modify any of the designs in the e-commerce store to accommodate your specific requirements.
