The frame design for this unique embroidered Inspector General emblem begins with the custom embroidered oversized 3rd ID patch placed to the left of the Inspector General emblem. Both the 3rd ID patch and the Inspector General emblem are secured inside individual window openings above the coins and a nameplate. A custom commemorative nameplate is centered beneath 3rd ID patch and the Inspector General emblem. To the left of the nameplate is a college coin, and to the right of the nameplate is a unit challenge coin. The objects in this frame are triple matted. The top and bottom mats are a silken navy blue. The middle mat is yellow and matches the color in the coins and the adjutant general emblem. An open V-groove surrounds the embroidered pieces and the objects beneath them. The V-groove is a distinctive element in our custom framing design. It provides color contrast for this piece and invokes a sense of depth and dimension. The brown wood frame with metal corner caps is used to complete the design.
