This is an example of two 7” x 5” medical guidons framed side-by-side. These are custom embroidered medical guidons from two separate units. The purpose for framing two medical guidons together with memorabilia was to present a unique PCS gift. The miniature medical guidons form the first row of objects in frame. Beneath the guidons are five objects relevant to the recipient’s career. Rank insignias are the first and last items on the second row.. The second item from the left is a U.S Army Master Aviator wing pin. In the center of the row is a commemorative custom nameplate. To the right of the nameplate is an Army Combat Action Badge. The medical guidons and associated memorabilia are triple matted. The top and bottom mats are light gray tone. The middle mat is a deep maroon that matches the medical guidons’ color. An open V-groove surrounds the pair of medical guidons and the objects beneath them. The bevel opening in the V-groove provides a separation of colors between the gold lining of the frame and the objects inside the frame.
