This is an example of a custom flag case that contains a flag flown at Tactical Base Gamberi, Afghanistan. The design for this custom frame includes the folded flag placed at the top of the frame. The flag measures approximately 3’ x 5’ in size. In it is placed inside of a 13.375” x 5.625” window opening. Under the flag, is a challenge coin. Under the challenge is a certificate, citing the date and place the flag was flown. The design for this flag display case includes double mats. The top is a Navy blue blue silken mats The bottom mat is a red paper mat. An open V groove surrounds the frame and the objects beneath it. The red, bottom mat is revealed in this open V groove and provides color contrast that enhances the patriotic appeal of the design.
