Bronze Star Medal With Award Document – Vertical Design
This is an example features the Bronze Star Medal with the signed award document using a vertical design. The Bronze Star Medal is awarded for heroism. This Bronze Star Medal is framed with the award document over the bronze star medal. This design variation uses triple acid-free/conservation grade mats. The mat colors match the colors in both the Bronze Star Metal and the decoration award. The top mat is linen. The red linen mat provides a rich, deep texture to the overall look. A dark blue mat matches the colors in the medal’s vertical stripe. The Bronze Star is top mounted to a white mat in the opening beneath the award document. The award document is mounted to an acid-free reversible foamboard. Our signature V-groove surrounds the award document and the medal. A dark Brown wood frame with metal corner caps surrounds the mats. This frame with metal corner caps is most popular profile for framing documents with small items such as medals, ribbons, patches, rank pins, distinctive unit insignias, photographs, tabs, patches, and small memorabilia. We frame Bronze Star Medals using conservation grade materials and techniques. This includes using 99% UV protective glass. There are a number of options available for framing Bronze Star Medals. Some of these options include different mat colors and different style frame profiles. Options are also available that include placing additional objects inside the frame with the Bronze Star.
I like this frame design. I have 2 bronze stars and have been looking for a frame for them. Is it possible to get this exact setup without sending my items in or is that required?
Bryan,
Thank you for your inquiry. Since I complete the entire frame, I am
unable to provide just the frame and matting as I must have the medal
and certificate to determine the exact size required for each computer
mat cut opening as well as the frame. I also have to secure each piece
in place inside the frame. I just received 2 Bronze stars and
certificates from Texas as well as 3 Meritorious Service medals to
complete. It is not a problem to ship them as long as they are
secured properly inside the shipping box. The certificate must be
placed between 2 pieces of hard cardboard so it doesn’t bend or crease
during shipping. The medal must be securely padded so it doesn’t get
tossed around inside the box. So far it hasn’t been a problem for my
customers to ship their medals and certificates.
