This is an example of a military shadow box custom built for a U.S. Army 1st Battalion Ranger. This is a commemorative piece that includes a Tomahawk as the centerpiece for a military shadow box design. On the top row above the Tomahawk is a pair of 1st Battalion Ranger tabs and a sergeant’s uniform stripe. Below the right Ranger tab is a combat action badge, a parachutist badge, and another badge. The bottom row contains three items that include distinctive unit insignias, and a commemorative engraved nameplate. A V-groove surrounds the objects inside the frame. Four acid-free/conservation grade mats are used for framing the Tomahawk and the accompanying Army Ranger mementos. A rectangular black matte finish wood frame with silver edging is used to complete the shadow box design.
