Cavalry Guidon Example – Regimental Support Squadron 278th Armored Cavalry Guidon
This example features a cotton, custom embroidered Regimental Support Squadron, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment guidon. The RSS guidon’s design is similar to many of the 12” x 9” guidon frame designs offered for sale in the e-commerce store. This guidon example is triple matted. The top mat is an etched black mat that gives a metallic sheen effect. A black paper mat is used for the center mat. Stacking two black mats is especially effective at providing a sense of depth for the objects. Finally, a red suede mat is used for the bottom mat. The red mat contrasts extremely well against the black mats and provides an even greater sense of depth for the objects framed. The objects are secured in place on top of the red suede mat. The Regimental Support Squadron 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment occupies the top left position in the frame. To the right of it, and in the guidon’s swallowtail area, is the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment Combat Service Identification Badge. Below the guidon are three openings. These opening are occupied by a rank pin, a custom engraved gold satin commemorative nameplate, and an Army Medical Department Regimental Distinctive Insignia. Our e-commerce store offers variations of this design. For example, we can exchange rank pins, insignias, and patches in the openings beside and beneath the guidon. Feel free to contact us with your specific requirements for guidons and guidon framing.
