Field Artillery Guidons – Custom Embroidered and Custom Framed

Field Artillery Guidons – Custom Embroidered and Custom Framed

This is an example of a guidon frame design that incorporates two different sizes of artillery guidons from two different units. Both guidons were customized to provide individuality for the recipient. They were brought to us for framing. The top guidon represents the 1st Battalion, 76th Field Artillery Regiment. The second guidon represents the 4th Brigade Combat Team. The top field artillery guidon is a 7” x 5” miniature guidon with custom embroidery. The second guidon is a 12” x 9” custom embroidered guidon with dates and names. Separating the two guidons are name tapes and a flag patch. The guidons were framed using double acid-free/conservation grade mats. The top mat is a green suede mat that mimics Army camo. The bottom mat is off-white. In the swallowtail area of each guidon is a unit coin. A brown wood profile with metal corner caps completes the frame design. This double artillery guidon project is large, but illustrates the effectiveness of using two guidons in one frame. We can easily customize designs to accommodate multiple guidons with objects that reflect multiple deployments.
