This is a custom embroidered 3rd Battalion 7th Infantry Regiment guidon. The guidon size is 12” x 9” and the guidon is made of nylon blended fabric. The guidon was sewn into place to secure it from falling, dropping, or sagging. The design for this custom infantry guidon frame includes a blue linen top mat and a white bottom mat. A unit insignia was placed in the guidon’s swallowtail area. The insignia was attached to the white bottom mat. A custom nameplate is attached beneath the guidon. A standard V-groove runs around the guidon and the insignia, and then it forms a drop box design around the nameplate. Our most popular brown wood molding profile with metal corner caps is used for the frame. The design for this infantry guidon’s frame includes the exclusive use of conservation grade framing materials and techniques, including 99% UV protective glass as the glazing.
