Flag Display Case Example – For An American Flag Flown On A Combat Mission
This is an example of a flag flown in the face of the enemy during a combat mission on a 64D Apache Attack Helicopter. The mission was part of Task Force Falcon flown by the Third Combat Aviation Brigade. The folded American flag was placed in a triangular opening approximately 13.375” x 5.625” in size. The flag was positioned above the aircraft crew photo. Beneath the flag is the signed certificate stating that the flag was actually flown. The design for this frame includes double mats. The top mat is a navy blue silken mat, and the bottom mat is a red paper mat. An open V-groove surrounds the flag and the objects inside the frame. The frame used in this design is a brushed champagne/silver finish wood frame. Framing flags flown in the face of the enemy is one of the many services we offer our military customers. Any of the designs for our flag display cases can be modified to accommodate an individual’s particular needs. This may include additional objects placed inside the frame with the flag.

The total price will include the following:
1. Double Archival Acid-Free fabric mats – top mat – navy blue, 2nd mat – red
2. Custom computer mat cut design with an open v-groove to the outside edge showing the 2nd red mat peeking through. My most popular design.
3. Hand sewing the flag in place so the point of the top star stays aligned with the peek of the triangular mat cut.
4. All wood brushed silver shadow custom-sized to the contents within.
5. 99% UV Protective Acrylic to prevent fading over the years and breakage during shipping
6. Custom printing from a digital file you provide of the photo on acid-free photo paper with 100-year archival ink.
7. Acid-free dust cover with metal shadowbox hangers.
8. Shipping & insurance via FedEx to an address where someone is available to sign for the package to prevent theft or it can be shipped to a local FedEx Print & Ship Center or Walgreens for pick-up there withing 5 days. I do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or out of the Continental U.S.

If you want to proceed with an order, the flag and certificate need to be shipped to my address below. Be sure to place the certificate between 2 pieces of hard cardboard to prevent creasing and place the flag in a plastic bag. You can email the digital file for the photo to: cindysframing@coastalnow.net and I will print it in the appropriate size. Once I receive all the items I will contact you for credit card payment to process your order.
