Custom Frames for any of our custom picture framing projects begins on a computerized mat cutting program. All of our custom picture framing—including military shadow boxes, military art, military prints, framed guidons, and flag display cases are designed by computer. A computerized mat design provides accurate spacing between objects. It also permits the insertion of an open V-groove in the overall custom frame design. Once, the design is complete and approved by the customer, the design is sent to the mat cutter, which precisely cuts the mats for a custom frame. All of this is a prerequisite to making custom frames for shadow boxes, guidons, flag display cases, and custom framing any project in our frame shop.
