Framed Chemical Corps 28” x 20” Guidon Design 2820-D3-M4. The framed army guidon features an embroidered single-sided guidon sewn onto the bottom acid-free mat. The Chemical guidon has triple acid-free mats. The top two mats are cut into the shape of the guidon and an opening for each object. The bottom mat is used for mounting objects in the openings. This guidon design features 8 object openings. The first opening is for the guidon. Within the the guidon’s swallowtail are two vertical openings for a rank pin and unit crest or similar size objects. Under the guidon are five object openings. From left the right objects include: a patch, challenge coin, name plate, another challenge coin, and another patch or similar size objects. The design also includes an open V-groove immediately around the Chemical guidon and the other objects. Surrounding the mats is a traditional 2” wide medium brown tone wood frame with metal corner caps. The glazing for the frame is 99% UV protected acrylic. This frame selection is very popular with the military.
